The Albatross Beach House is a newly built, fully furnished, self-catering house on the water’s edge in the village of Vlees Bay - 20 minutes’ drive from Mossel Bay on the Garden Route. Uniquely positioned right on the beach, with just a frog's leap between you and the Indian Ocean - you can drop a stone from the balcony into the water, that's the proximity to the water. This seaside village is situated at the Western end of the well known scenic Garden Route, with untouched nature and sea surroundings and many kilometres of golden beaches for walking and jogging and a very safe beach for swimming. It’s the perfect place to relax - take long walks on the ivory sand beach, lie in the sun on the deck, swim in the perfect waves and wake up to the noise of seagulls and oyster catchers on the rocks in front of the house. It is a place of "just being", where you can ensure to find peace for the soul. Self Catering AccommodationThe Albatross Beach House has 3 bedrooms, of which the main bedroom is en suite with a shower and the other 2 double rooms share a bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also an outside shower, with a spectacular view, and is favoured by the whale and dolphin watchers. Rooms are fully equipped with percale cotton sheets, blankets and towels; each individually decorated with style. The house offers an uninterrupted view of the ocean, with a big balcony, and has a unique position that cannot be matched in South Africa! All the sea facing windows in the lounge / dining room area, fold up and slide to the side, offering a feeling of being outside with the beach on your doorstep. The house is well equipped for self-catering with a fridge, stove (gas and electric), dishwasher, microwave, DSTV, DVD player, washing machine, kitchen utensils and all electrical equipment, fireplace and barbeque in the lounge and on the balcony and all the platters and crockery that you need for entertaining in style. ACTIVITIES & THINGS TO DOTennis and squash courts are a 10 minutes’ drive to the village next to Vlees Bay, Boggoms Bay. For the keen golfer there is a choice of several golf courses in the vicinity with the famous Fancourt and Pinnacle Point golf courses a few kilometres away. The closest airport is George and is 80kms from Vlees Bay. The famous 4x4 in Eden Dune Route is also in Vlees Bay and the perfect outing for the adventurer. Enjoy long walks on the ivory sand beach, lie in the sun on the deck or wake up to the noise of seagulls and oyster catchers, enjoying themselves on the rocks. Go for an early morning swim and refresh your body with a cold shower outside whilst watching the whales and dolphins. Tennis and Squash Courts, 10 minutes drive to Boggoms Bay.
