On a recent trip to South Africa, I was lucky enough to be in the care of the delightful owners of Tama Rumah. I am irritatingly fussy and I can honestly say I had a most comfortable night's stay. Their website does not do justice to the fabulous decor of this guest house. In fact, I have even asked the owners to send me details of where to source some of the pieces they have chosen. The location of Tama Rumah is great too, with fabulous restaurants, wine bars and coffee shops in easy walking distance. |

What a wonderful reception! We had a great evening in Melville and did not feel (read.... could NOT) drive home. On short notice we got THE MOST BEUTIFUL room, fantastic service, and wonderful hospitality. The next morning we had a scrumptious breakfast, some TLC and champagne.... just to help us along! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We will certainly do it again!!! |

Have visited Tama Rhuma many times, with April 2010 being the most recent. Over a few years, I have witnessed 3 adjacent older homes being totally transformed into a unique, tasteful and welcomimg guest house situated in a magically cosmopolitan area. I'm really looking forward to my next visit! |

Very comfortable environment and a perfect stop-over for 'jet-lagged' Kiwi's. We will most definately visit again the next time we're in Africa. |
