Melville Accommodation / Tama Rumah Guest House Melville Accommodation / Guest House in Melville

Wooden floors, pressed steel ceilings, stained glass windows, Victorian baths, custom made tiles; African art, Indonesian teak, soft feather pillows, crisp cotton linen… Tinkling fountains, cascades of bougainvillea, trailing jasmine, roses, irises and lavender. Freshly brewed coffee, croissants, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, this is just a small taste of what Tama Rumah Guest House has to offer.

Tama Rumah has six bedrooms; all of them unique and deliciously different. So delicious that we've named each of them after the flowers in the garden.

ACCOMMODATION

Our beds are so inviting you’ll want to jump on them (of course if you do, you might be charged extra). We offer both feather and synthetic pillows, and a hundred per cent cotton percale linen. We also provide gorgeous robes so you can look glamorous as you lounge around on our Queen size beds.

The bathrooms are a mouth-watering confection of stained glass, handmade tiles and mosaics with wood and brass finishes. We know that you’ll want to spend all your time there, which is why we provide magazine racks in each of the loos.

There are phone lines and internet connections in all of the rooms, colour TV’s, M-Net, safes, tea and coffee, ceiling fans and heaters. Fax facilities are also available. We also provide hairdryers.

FACILITIES AND SERVICES

Our lounge area has a TV if you’re feeling sociable, as well as a selection of African art and local jewellery if you’re in the mood for a bit of armchair shopping. We also have a selection of second hand books for sale if you left home without anything good to read.

Our dining area is cozy and we have a beautiful garden at the back if you want to sit outside. Our breakfasts are seriously scrumptious and we do provide low-cal alternatives for the more health conscious (not to mention a list of scary personal trainers who will only be too happy to come and put you through your paces).

And if you need your clothes washed and ironed or dry-cleaned, we can sort that out for you too.
