Upmarket, fully equipped self-catering cottages. Tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped for any length of stay.
These cottages are nestled between the Kwesani River and the Kwelera Nature Reserve that is home to small buck, monkeys and a rich bird life.
Situated only 50 meters from the beach you will be able to hear the sound of waves crashing onto the rocks nearby. This part of our beautiful coastline consists mostly of pebbles and rocky outposts.
Our four star grading ensures a high standard of quality accommodation. Stokkies & Skulpies offer a comfortable “home away from home”.

ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES
Fishing right at our door is a popular activity as well as water sports such as surfing, canoeing etc. This is a great area for bird watching, walking & hiking. A communal swimming pool and plenty of lawn space makes it a natural playground for children.
The closest shopping centre “The Village Centre” is only 4kms away.
JIKELEZA ROUTE
Jikeleza in the local isiXhosa language invites one to “wander” or “meander” through this scenic coastal tourist route. World class beaches, tidal rivers aplenty, countless leisure options and rich cultural heritage makes this a ‘must see’ destination. Some of the attractions within a 40kms radius from Stokkies & Skulpies include:
The famous Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve hosts the Big Six, offering magnificent game drives and interaction with elephants.
For a true taste of Xhosa culture and custom, visit Mama Tofu in her home in Ngxingxolo Village.
Cintsa East has the best swimming beach. The seven-kilometer stretch is a popular kite-surfing spot.
There is a tidal pool at Cintsa West, which has been there for decades and is safe for children.
For those looking for arts and crafts there are several artists on the route who welcome a visit to their galleries by appointment.
Cintsa Horses, Areena Riverside Resort, Murambi Roses, Tea in the Trees, The Red Tulip Café, The Milking Shed, AV8 Helicopters, Michaela's restaurant, Country Bumpkin etc offer lots to do, see, eat and buy!

Remember to visit the East London Museum, famous for hosting the prehistoric Coelacanth Fish.
NOTEs
No smoking is allowed inside the cottages. Linen and towels are supplied but guests are requested to bring their own beach towels. The cottages are not serviced, but when occupied for more than seven days there will be a change of linen and a general clean up. Arrangements for a cleaning service can be made at an additional fee. Sorry, no pets allowed.
