Silvermist Guesthouse is situated high up in the mountains overlooking the small town of Modjadjiskloof. It has a picturesque view of the ravine and mountains that form part of the legendary “Valley of the Silver Mist” that includes the famous Magoebaskloof Valley. Its spectacular beauty, natural forests and waterfalls makes it a popular tourist destination.
The guesthouse has six well appointed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and satellite TV in each room. It also has as a large honeymoon suite with a lounge and a patio overlooking the mountains.

Guests have access to a great variety of tourist’s attractions in four different valleys within a half an hour’s drive from the guesthouse. This includes one of the largest Boabab trees in South Africa that houses a small pub in its trunk. There is also a quad bike off-road track in the bush at Boabab tree.
There are quite a few game reserves nearby, one of which offers individual game drives in golf carts, allowing visitors to come in close contact with a wonderful variety of game. The nearest gate of the world famous Kruger National Park is only about a 150 kilometres away. Sports lovers have access to an 18 hole golf course only 7 kilometres away at the Tzaneen Country Club.
After a day of exploring the tourist attractions in the area, guests can cool off in a lovely swimming pool with a special feature for children.
