Sheer Cliffs is a luxury self catering holiday home in the Garden Route, South Africa. The house overlooks the Indian Ocean and Buffelsbaai. The house sleeps 7 people and is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday. The best thing to be said about Sheer Cliffs is simply that it is built on cliffs' end and has magnificent views.

ACCOMMODATION:

The main bedroom has a stunning view over the Indian Ocean. In summer you can view the sunsets from the bed. All the rooms are fully furnished and fitted with good quality duvets and extras. The living area is huge and ideal for entertaining. The living area has excellent views of the ocean and is a comfortable spot to do whale watching from! 2 bedrooms with double beds, 1 room with 2 single beds, 1 room with 1 single bed. There are two bathrooms, of which one is an en-suite to the main bedroom.

Facilities

Most people simply vote for the verandah. It is the favourite spot to 'whale' away the day, sit in the sun and just relax. The verandah has a built in braai and a Weber braai (with smoker). The deck has an uninhibited 210º view over the Atlantic ocean, Fisherman's Walk, Buffelsbaai, Brenton Blue nature reserve and on a clear day you can see as far as Mossel Bay. You can even spend the whole day at the "pool with a view".

The home provides you with all the luxuries needed to make your stay as pleasant and hassle free as possible. It contains amongst others the following: dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, colour television, toaster, kettle, etc. You only need to bring your own food, towels and a decoder (DSTV or M Net), the rest is supplied.

Double lockup garages. These are huge and can easily accommodate extra vehicles such as trailers, bikes and jet skies. Security has never been an issue, but it is reassuring to know you can lock mostly everything safely away.

Activities within an hour's drive from Sheer Cliffs:
Horse rides through indigenous forests, water ski on Knysna Lagoon, black water river rides through deep cliffs right up to the beach, bunji jumping from Africa's highest bridge, whale spotting and boat trips, Knysna lakes ferry rides to the heads, the waterfront in Knysna, lots and lots of restaurants and coffee shops, mountain bike trails, jet ski trips, paragliding, the Tsitsikamma Big Tree and of course the famous golf courses i.e. Fancourt, Sparrebosch, George, and Knysna.

The Brenton~On~Sea restaurant, fishing at the blocks, nature walks, Brenton Blue butterfly nature reserve, whale spotting, swimming, surfing, paragliding, slope soaring and bird watching.
