Our face-brick guest house features five individually decorated units.AccommodationOur Luxury Family Suite sleeps four with a king size bed for the adults and a bunk bed for the children in a separate area. It boasts a big screen TV with DSTV access, dining area, kitchenette with a microwave and fridge, a large ensuite with shower and corner bath, and a private porch with stunning sea views. This suite is also perfect for a romantic honeymoon, anniversary or birthday and comes with a free bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate your special occasion. Our Self-Catering Family Units sleep three or four and have a lounge area with TV and DSTV access, an ensuite with both bath and shower, dining area and an equipped kitchen for your convenience. Our three double units are all fitted with king or queen size beds, TV’s with DSTV access, coffee and tea stations, bath packs and towels. Two of these units have sea views and an en-suite with a shower while the third unit has a garden view and an en-suite with corner bath and shower. BreakfastWe offer a self-service Continental breakfast which is available from early morning in our dining area, suiting both guests on business and those preferring to enjoy a later morning breakfast. There are tables at the poolside should you wish to take advantage of Durban’s warm sun while enjoying your breakfast. Facilities and ServicesAll of our guests have access to the Main Lodge kitchen which is equipped for self-catering, and all of our rooms are serviced daily. For guests wishing to keep up to date with emails while away from the office or home, we provide free wireless broadband for laptops. Our beautiful large swimming pool with a flowing water feature is perfect for relaxing in the sun, and if you would like to extend your swimming to the sea, Umhlanga’s main swimming beach is a mere 5 minute drive away. ConferencesIn our air-conditioned “Zebra Room” we cater for meetings, presentations and training. The room can be furnished with a round glass table seating a maximum of 10 for meetings or discussions; Seating for 14 in a lecture room style for presentations; and Three Tables seating 12 for Training. Attractions & ActivitiesGateway Theatre of shopping is 2 km’s away and provides a large variety of restaurants for meals, as well as a huge range of entertainment for the whole family, including 18 cinema’s, ten-pin bowling, MTN Science Centre, Fantasy Forest, Wave House, Skateboard Park and a 22m Indoor climbing rock.
