For more than a decade, this rustic country getaway has accommodated couples seeking to spend time romancing together without their children, single guests needing a sanity break and small groups who know they deserve a touch of spa pampering. ACCOMMODATIONThe guesthouse has six beautiful en-suite rooms, decorated with a distinctly old European flavour, originally designed for romantic getaways. Standard Rooms: Three of the rooms have lace canopies over their queen-sized beds and one has a king-sized bed. All of the Standard Rooms have an en-suite bathroom. Superior Rooms: The two Superior Rooms each have a queen-sized bed with a spa corner bath in the room. All rooms also feature: Garden entrances Outside seating areas Tea / coffee trays with glasses for your own beverages Colour TVs (12 channels DSTV) Hair dryers Heaters / fans Umbrellas Bathroom and pool towels Numbered, undercover parking. There is nothing that soothes the soul quite like a peaceful reflection with a background chorus of birdsong in the early morning, or at dusk. The energetic can do a little open-air exercise on the equipment at the lapa, or play pool. The not-so-energetic can snooze until late, as breakfast is served until noon. In the lounge you will find a refreshment station and masses of books, magazines, puzzles, board games, a chess table and a zen sand bowl for your entertainment. On cold winter nights you are welcome to light the fire yourself and sit at the hearth. Books, magazines library and binoculars for bird-watching Refreshment station for fruit, water, tea and coffee. ROSE WELL SPAUnique to The Rose Well Spa is the Mineral Therapy Ponds next to the lapa. These are garden ponds with biological filters and a high concentration of salts dissolved in natural borehole water. Here you can enjoy the unique experience of applying your own magnesium salts exfoliation crθme and then bathing in the garden ponds. The combination of salts and natural algae revitalises and feeds skin cells while sunshine feeds your skin essential vitamins. For more hands-on relaxation, the spa offers a range of packages and individual treatments that include steam room, showers and baths. Even a facial, manicure or pedicure has a massage component. These treatments include: Massage: Full Body or Back, Neck & Shoulders, with a choice of Hot Stone Therapy, Swedish Massage or Aroma Therapy; Facial Treatments for men and women; Hydro treatments including Vichy Shower Treatments (Body polish and Wraps) and Hydro-bath treatments; Spa Manicure and Pedicure (natural nails only).
