Activities include fishing, diving, kayaking (hire), swimming and surfing on Durban's finest beaches! Helicopter rides are available in peak season from the pier at uShaka. Deep sea or off-shore fishing trips and tours may be arranged from the Point Yacht Club below. There are many restaurants in the uShaka Mall.
Quayside 906 is a luxury apartment on the 9th floor. It comprises 2 bedrooms (main en-suite), 2 bathrooms, with a leather sleeper couch in the living room. The main bedroom has a queen size extra length bed, a built-in safe, sea and beach views, whilst the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. All rooms have built in cupboards. All north facing windows have blockout curtains ensuring no sunlight enters the room when drawn. A strong hairdryer is available in the main bedroom.
The apartment sleeps a total of 6 guests, comprising 4 adults and 2 children. The stackaway doors open fully to include the balcony, furnished with imported exotic furniture, in the main living area. A 42" LCD TV with full DStv is available in the lounge. The open plan dining room comfortably seats 6.
The apartment has ducted air-conditioning throughout. An ironing board with an iron is available in the unit. No telephone is available in the unit. All linen and beach towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, under-counter oven and stove, a microwave, a 2-slice toaster, a 4-slice sandwich maker and a stainless steel kettle. Granite tops are complemented by the rich mahogany cupboards. A full array of kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery is provided.
The apartment is covered by wireless internet 24/7 with the activation code provided on arrival. A basic alarm system is installed and is linked to an armed response managed by Chubb.
The building has 24-hr security, access control and CCTV cameras. There 2 undercover parking bays and access to the parking area may be achieved via the lifts. It is a non-smoking unit. A small swimming pool and wooden deck is available on the 1st floor. A minimum 2 night stay is currently required.
