Phantom Acres is a self catering cottage (approximately 15 minutes from Knysna) beautifully renovated, which sleeps 4 - 6 people. Make this your base to explore the Garden Route. The Cottage ideally sleeps two couples or a family. It is very private with views across fields and forest to the sea in the distance. Lots of birds visit - the blackheaded oriole, sunbirds, the Knysna Loerie, etc.

We are approximately 15 minutes by car from the town of Knysna (6 minutes from a choice of restaurants), 15 minutes from Jubilee Creek (wonderful indigenous forest for walks, cycling or a visit to the old goldfields) and 15 minutes to Buffalo Bay or Brenton-on-Sea (excellent swimming and beach walks).

ACCOMMODATION:


Accommodation consists of one double room with king-size double or twin beds and bathroom en-suite with bath, shower over bath, bidet and toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds and a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a third room accessed from the patio which has two single beds.

There is a large open plan lounge / dining room / kitchen with Satellite TV / Multichoice. The fireplace (wood provided) makes this very cosy in winter. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, two-plate stove, fridge, etc.

All linen is provided except beach towels. Outside is a covered veranda and we provide wood for the braai / B.B.Q.

RECREATION & LEISURE:


We can give advice on the following: Sea kayaking, sailing, canoeing, horseriding, fishing, Abseiling, mountain biking as well as walks, drives, where to eat, entertainment, arts and crafts, etc. to make your holiday really memorable. Make this your base to explore the surrounding countryside.
