NATURE RESERVEUniquely different Palm Beach, so named after the "Ilala Palm", boasts its own Nature Reserve, estuary and natural tidal pool. The calm waters of the estuary are ideal for (beginner) wind-surfing while the reserve offers self-guided walking trails through its riverine forest, a bird-watcher's paradise of interlinking wetlands, grasslands and majestic dune forests. ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONSFor the more energetic visitor, the area offers a wide variety of sports such as golf on some of the country's top courses, rock and deep-sea fishing, hiking, whale and dolphin watching, canoeing, horse riding, mountain biking. At the nearby Wild Coast casino you might bolster your holiday budget (or not). Or just relax and unwind around the pool, in the garden.
