An English breakfast is served in the morning and on request a traditional evening braai can be enjoyed overlooking the beautiful valley below. LOCATIONOlifantskop Lodge is situated at the end of the Garden Route and is malaria free. The Lodge is set in 600 hectares of pristine Eastern Cape Bushveld just 45 minutes drive from Port Elizabeth and 25 Kilometres from Addo. Olifantskop Lodge is in a beautiful garden setting and offers excellent bird watching. Guests are free to walk through the farm to enjoy the panoramic views of the African Bush. Walks are popular on the farm after breakfast. Bushbuck, Duiker, Impala and Monkeys can be spotted along the way. ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES NEARBYAfter a delicious breakfast be ready to explore one of the spectacular game reserves close to Olifantskop Lodge: Shamwari Game Reserve Shamwari Game Reserve is a private game reserve and has received numerous international awards. The reserve boasts the Big 5, Wild dog, Cheetah and Hyena as well as five eco-systems, thus enabling the support of many forms of plat, animal and bird life. Addo Elephant National Park Addo Elephant Park boasts some 320 elephants, Cape buffalo, Black Rhino and many different species of antelope. The Elephant viewing at Addo is rated as the best in the world. The dense thicket is ideal elephant country and can support four times the density of elephants than the Kruger National Park. Visitors have the option of self-drive excursions into the park or they can make use of the guided tours that are on offer. Amakhala Game Reserve Amakhala Game Reserve's day safari commences with a guided tour of the Nile Crocodile Centre at Reed Valley followed by a 2 hour game drive as well as enjoying a cheese and wine sundowner cruise on the Bushmans River. The whole experience is concluded with dinner around the fire in the bush camp and a half an hour night drive back to Reed Valley. Lalibela Game Reserve Lalibela Game Reserve's day programme starts with tea and coffee at the day centre.
