Oewerzicht Farm is situated in the picture perfect Greyton Valley on the banks of the Riviersonderend River. It is the ideal place for a peaceful and romantic getaway.

Self Catering Accommodation

We have seven cottages and six luxury Safari style tents situated on different locations on the farm. Three farm style cottages are situated about 50 meters from the river. These are called Bergzicht, Welgelee and Citrus.

Bergzicht and Welgelee are semi-detached and both have one bedroom with a double bed and two single beds in the living area. Both these cottages have an indoor and outdoor braai area, as well as a lovely and spacious veranda. These cottages accommodate four persons each.

Citrus has two double beds and two single beds (in two separate rooms) and a little cottage at the back with a double bed and a bathroom. This cottage can accommodate eight persons. The cottage has a fireplace, an outside braai area and a nice-sized veranda for entertaining.

There are four cottages on the hill; situated about 300 meters from the river with panoramic views of the Riviersonderend Mountain range. These cottages are called the Uitsig Cottages. Each of the Uitsig cottages has a living room, two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds), a separate bathroom and indoor as well as outdoor braai facilities. The cottages have a communal plunge pool.

Oewerzicht has six furnished Safari style tents on the banks of the Riviersonderend River. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom and is equipped with a bar fridge, kettle, a fan, a heater for winter time and its own braai facilities. All tents use a fully equipped communal kitchen.

Oewerzicht is a diverse farm where we farm with apples, pears, wine and sheep. We are only 9km from the tranquil country village with all its wonderful experiences.

Oewerzicht is also a special venue for weddings and conferences.

The lapa area is on the bank of the Riviersonderend River and seats 80 people for smaller weddings and conferences. For larger weddings, Oewerzicht has a free-form (stretch) tent next to the lapa which can accommodate up to 150 (seated) guests, as well as room for a larger dance floor.

The cost includes a fully equipped kitchen, bar, tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glasses and setting up. Oewerzicht can accommodate 42 of your wedding guests, should you want to book all the accommodation facilities on the farm for your guests.
