With the city of Cape Town just down the highway, shopping and sightseeing trips to the world-famous V&A Waterfront can be combined with a must-see visit up the cable car for a breathtaking sunset on Table Mountain – then home for an evening swim in the floodlit pool and a good South African braai (barbeque) in your own garden setting.

With under an hour’s drive, the famous surfing beaches of Muizenburg are readily accessible and a short distance from our beloved penguins, frisky baboons and the Cape Point Nature Reserve. If you want to venture further into the Garden Route, day trips to beautiful villages like Greyton are within reach from your cottage, or the stunning beaches at Betty’s Bay.
