Mountain Vista self catering accommodation consists of 3 completely independent units within the same grounds. On site management will ensure that your stay is hassle free. Full DStv is available in all units. We have our own maid staff that will ensure that your unit cleaned daily. Additional services including washing, ironing and child minding are available at an additional charge, please enquire for details. We are ideally situated backing directly onto Rietvlei Nature Reserve with breathtaking views of Table Mountain yet within minutes of the city centre, V&A Waterfront, local beaches and the Wine Route. Bayside Shopping Centre is a 5 minutes drive away and boasts one of the biggest shopping centres in Cape Town. A 5 minute drive to Blouberg Beach (surfers and kite surfers paradise) is where you will find the nearest nightlife, restaurants catering for just about every taste and a number of trendy bars and clubs to party away at or to just sit outside in the warm evenings and watch the magnificent sunsets. Flamingo House (sleeps 10 adults in 5 bedrooms) The house is accessed across a small foot bridge that spans a well stocked Koi pond with gently flowing water feature. The ground floor comprises an entrance way leading into a TV lounge with DStv and home entertainment system with direct access into the mature garden through sliding doors. The large open plan dining area and living room (with CD/MP3 player) opens directly onto the outside entertainment area and its built in, protected, BBQ area with water features, teak dining furniture and huge parasol. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, rotisserie and gas stove. Downstairs is a guest toilet. The scullery and laundry area are serviced by a laundry chute from 1st floor. • Bedroom 1 with double bed, balcony (which enjoys the sweeping views of the Nature reserve and Table Mountain) and en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is also accessible from the passage to be shared by the rest of the house if required. • Bedroom 2 with double bed. • Bedroom 3 with double bed. • Bedrooms 4 and 5 with twin or bunk beds. • Provision can be made for 2-4 children or toddlers on mattresses with own bedding. All bedrooms have ample built in cupboards. There is a second bathroom with shower and bath. Outside is a large well stocked mature garden and rolling lawn leading directly into the nature reserve. The first thing that guests do upon arrival is grab their camera and starting taking photo’s, the view of Table Mountain from the garden is stunning and has to be seen to be believed. A double garage with remote opening is available for secure parking with off road parking for a further 4 vehicles. The house is fully alarmed with panic buttons, armed response and medical emergency through ADT security and a large safe deposit box. BIRD'S VIEW APARTMENT (SLEEPS 5 GUESTS IN 2 BEDROOMS) The front door leads into a double volume spiral stone staircase. At the top of the stairs a bird's eye view opens up into the living area with DVD, CD, DStv and home theatre system. The open plan kitchen has a breakfast bar and is fully equipped with microwave, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, toaster etc. There are 2 double bedrooms, 1 with a double bed (the view out of this window is breathtaking) and the other with 3 single beds, both with built in cupboards. The bathroom has a large modern shower, handbasin and WC. Large sliding doors lead onto the private wooden deck area which has BBQ facilities, dining furniture and sun loungers with the most stunning views over the nature reserve and across to Table Mountain. Dedicated off-road parking is provided, the apartment is fully alarmed and a safe deposit box is provided for the storage of valuables. AVIARY APARTMENT (SLEEPS 4 GUESTS IN 2 BEDROOMS) The front door leads into the open plan living/kitchen area with breakfast bar and is fully equipped with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster etc. There living area is equipped with DVD, CD, DStv and home theatre system. The couch can convert into a single sleeper increasing the capacity of Aviary to 5 persons if required. Sliding doors lead into the private garden and with outdoor dining area and gas BBQ facilities. There are 2 double bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds, both with built-in cupboards. The bathroom has a large modern shower, handbasin and WC. The side gate gives direct access to the gardens and nature reserve. Dedicated off-road parking is provided, the apartment is fully alarmed and a safe deposit box is provided for the storage of valuables. Fresh bed linen is provided in all units. Heaters are provided for cool winter evenings and fans for those warm summer days. Complimentary beach towels are provided along with a large cool box and ice packs for trips to the beach.
