Mbizi is an exclusive small lodge nestled in the African bush. A stay with us will provide you with a true nature experience. You can either watch the game in the privacy and tranquility of your own veranda or from the veranda at the main house overlooking our private waterhole.
With only eight beds we will provide you with privacy and tranquility in the heartland of the bush. The main house, with the pool, the bar and the restaurant area are a short bush walk from the chalets. From the pool and the veranda you have a fantastic view overlooking the bush towards the Northern Drakensberg.
Mbizi Bush Lodge's spacious air-conditioned cottages have private entrance and a view over the bush from private verandas. From your double bed you will enjoy the sounds from the bush, birds singing in the morning and lions and hyenas calling in the night.
The cottages feature en-suite bathrooms with separate toilet, a shower and free toiletries that are replenished daily. The rooms are decorated in contemporary African style.
In your room you will find complimentary tea and coffee, facilities for early morning coffee and a mini bar for sun-downers on your private veranda. All cottages are non smoking. The 42m˛ cottages also feature an overhead fan, safe, wardrobe and hair dryer.
We are situated only 25 km from the Kruger National Park, Phalaborwa gate. Mbizi is located in Grietjie Private Nature Reserve which is part of Balule Nature Reserve and unfenced to The Greater Kruger National Park.
