About Luiperdskloof Game Lodge
Luiperdskloof Game Lodge is only 90km from OR Tambo International Airport, en-route to the Kruger National Park and Mozambique. This wilderness in Eastern Gauteng is teaming with wildlife. Hiking trails takes one through a diversity of fauna and flora, breathtaking rock formations, a variety of habitats that seems worlds apart. Enjoy a starlit dinner around campfire in one of our private lapas.
Accommodation options are self-catering, dinner bed and breakfast or bed and breakfast with an a la carte restaurant. Dine around a campfire in true African Style. Luiperdskloof Game Lodge is an ideal venue for families, romantic breakaways or reunions.
The River Camp
Consists of five self-catering units, which allow mostly for families. Sleeping six, each chalet has two en-suite bedrooms. A lapa, bar and kitchen provides space enough for families or a group of friends.
For 4 x 4 enthusiasts. Sleeping six, this camp with two lapas and outside shower, which cascades over rocks. Only gas and donkey geysers to give you that true bush feeling.
Jakkalsbessie private Camp
Consists of five en-suite chalets each with its own veranda with a stunning view of the river. A luxurious communal kitchen, lounge, bar, deck and lapa provides spectacular views. To compliment this camp we also have an outside shower and a pool with a view.
A unique experience! Three log cabins perched above the Wilge River with private deck/lounge with walkway to spacious bathrooms.
Has four river view chalets with a fireplace for those cozy African winter nights and are ideal for couples that want to spend some romantic time alone.
Attractions and Activities
Our pool area offers a pot of fun for young and old with a giant chess set, Putt-Putt course, pool table and table tennis. We have a golf driving range with a four hole mini golf course. Abseiling, aromatherapy, game drives, horse riding, hiking, birding, jukskei, volleyball and canoeing.
Places of interest
For our international visitors we arrange trips to the spectacular NAN-HUA Buddhist Temple, Cullinan Diamond Mine, renowned for the biggest diamond ever discovered. Experience how the early settlers lived at Willem-Prinsloo Museum. An excursion to the Refilwe Township for a first hand experience of local African Cultural can be arranged.
