Linquenda Landgoed offers three-star graded self-catering and bed & breakfast accommodation, a conference / events venue and friendly hospitality. Nestled in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site, Linquenda Landgoed is the place we’ve called home for over 65 years. Just 5 minutes from Lanseria Airport, where you can get flights to and from Cape Town, close to tourist attractions and the Hartebeespoort Dam; Linquenda Landgoed is perfectly situated for any kind of traveler. ACCOMMODATIONLinquenda Landgoed offers three self-catering units (one of which is a Wood Cabin) accommodating, in total, up to 10 guests. Each unit is fully equipped (bed linen, towels, kitchen utensils etc.) and offers DSTV with a bouquet of channels. We also offer a guest room (with breakfast available on request). “Kiewiet” Self-Catering: 1 x bedroom with double bed; 2 x single beds in the lounge; lounge with DSTV; bathroom with shower; fully equipped kitchen; secure parking. (Sleeps 4) “Blou Valk” Self-Catering: 1 x bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower; 1 x bedroom with two single beds and en-suite bathroom with shower; fully equipped kitchen; lounge with DSTV; covered patio; secure parking. (Sleeps 4) “Vis Arend” Self-Catering Wood Cabin: 1 x bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath; mini kitchen; DSTV Bouquet, covered patio; secure parking. (Sleeps 2) “Blou Valk” Guest Room: 1 x bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower; covered patio; secure parking. (Sleeps 2) CONFERENCE FACILITIES:We have 2 conference rooms. The first (“Ou Kraal” conference area) is outdoors and can accommodate 30 people. It can also be utilized for other events (it has a fully equipped kitchen and ablution facilities). The second (“Traporrel” conference room) is indoors and can accommodate 12 people. It walks out onto a covered patio. Data projectors and other equipment are offered on prior arrangement. ADDITIONAL FACILITIESLinquenda Landgoed also offers a Volleyball court, swimming pool, braai and campfire facilites for you to use at leisure. There is also ample space for walking, mountain biking and tent camping. THE AREA:Linquenda Landgoed is perfectly situated near Hartebeespoort Dam; The Lion Park; The Rhino & Lion Park; Maropeng Museum; Lesedi Cultural Village and restaurants. We are 1½ hours from Sun City; 35 minutes from Sandton and Centurion; 25 minutes from Northgate and “The Coca-Cola Dome” and 20 minutes from Fourways and Montecasino.
