The reserve is home to kudu - as well as a variety of general game including giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala, nyala, warthog, vervet monkeys, jackal and the smaller cats live civet and serval.

Over 300 bird species are at home on Likweti, including the seldom seen African Finfoot, and tailored drives for keen birders can be arranged.


Likweti is perfectly situated to offer guests convenient day trips into the nearby world renowned Kruger National Park for Big 5 sightings, a trip made all the more pleasurable accompanied by one of the Lodge’s scrumptious, gourmet picnic hampers.
