Lens Bed and Breakfast is a three star guesthouse, 10km from OR Tambo International Airport. We are situated at 12 Nagel Street, Benoni, Gauteng (Johannesburg), South Africa. An ideal venue for holidaymakers and businessmen, Lens Guesthouse offers luxurious and comfortable accommodation in a secured area with convenient private entrance and secured parking. AccommodationWe have six rooms, each with their own entrance from the parking area. All rooms can be converted to single or double rooms, and have en-suite bathrooms with a big shower, a coffee and tea tray is part of the amenities in the rooms. There is a working table and a chair in the room. Each room has its own air conditioner, TV 1, 2, 3, e-TV, M-Net, and two ADSL channels are available for your convenience. Internet, e-mail and fax facilities are also available on the premises. FacilitiesYou can relax in the lounge or cool off in the indoor swimming pool. If you want to keep fit the mini gym will be handy or else you can detox in the sauna. We have a bar with a pool table and dartboard to challenge your co-holiday makers or fellow businessmen. Breakfast and DiningWe serve a continental breakfast that is included in the accommodation price, in the dining room form 06h30 till 09h30. Lunch and dinner can be arranged on request at an additional cost. LocationThere are hospitals such as the Glynwood Hospital (2km), Sunward Park Hospital (7km) and the Medi Cross Clinic (5km) from our premises. Lens is close to three soccer and rugby stadiums and all major highways, ideal situated for the FIFA 2010 Soccer World Cup. The Benoni Lake Golf Club is within 2km and the ERPM Golf Club is within 5km from our premises. The Wanderers Cricket Ground is 22km from Lens B&B. The East Rand Mall, Lakeside Mall and East Gate are all within close vicinity. The Oriental Plaza is 24km away and Sandton City 27km, if shopping is what you want to do! Bruma Lake and Boksburg Flea Market are local markets that you can visit. You can choose from a variety of restaurants, pubs and night-clubs to spend your evenings at. Activities and AttractionsDay Tours are available to the Union Buildings and the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria (Tshwane), the Apartheid Museum, Constitutional Hill and Gold Reef City in Johannesburg. Visit the Township, Soweto where the 1976 Soweto uprising took place. Or make use of the opportunity to see Africa’s biggest treasures the Big Five, visit the Kruger National Park on a 3-5 day tour, the Pilansberg National Park on a one day trip.
