"Lampiesbos", situated within strolling distance from the river and superb beaches, is a beautiful holiday home with a rustic design, tucked away in the natural vegetation typical of the Sunshine Coast. This fully equipped house can comfortably accommodate eight people. Kenton-on-Sea is situated midway between Port Elizabeth and East London - approximately 90 minutes from Port Elizabeth, 20 minutes from Port Alfred and 40 minutes from Grahamstown. It is also within easy reach of the Addo Elephant Park and the well-known Shamwari Game Reserve. This natural paradise lies between two tidal rivers and offers beaches voted the best in the country. The seafront comprises calm estuaries, sheltered rocky coves and long expanses of pristine sand. The Bushman and Kariega Rivers offer superb fishing, boating, sailing, water-skiing and wind-surfing. Various game reserves have been established along the upper reaches of both rivers. The unspoiled riverine bush is renowned for its bird-life and add another dimension to the beauty of Kenton-on-Sea, which forms part of the South African Whale Route. ACCOMMODATIONThis fully equipped house can comfortably accommodate up to eight people. The two indoor fireplaces and the outdoor design of the house make it ideal for cosy winter and idyllic summer holidays. The main house has 3 bedrooms. Main bedroom with en-suite bathroom (with bath), second bedroom with double bed, third bedroom with two single beds. Second bathroom with shower. Right opposite the main house and lapa braai area you go onto a wooden deck that leads to the second dwelling which offers another bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with shower and a garage "room" which has been revamped into a playroom for our boys which has another 3-4 children's beds (Pine beds with sponge mattresses). The washing machine and tumble dryer is also in that area. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and necessary cutlery and crockery. FACILITIESHeating: Anthracite stove as well as open fireplace and two electric heaters. Cooling: Electric fan DSTV: Dish and decoder available. Bring own smartcard.
