The Knysna Country House is situated in the wooded suburb of Hunters Home, only minutes away from the Knysna and Pezula Golf Courses. The spacious and sunny balcony overlooking the large swimming pool is the ideal place to enjoy the rich bird life and views over the Knysna Lagoon, town and distant mountains. The accommodation consists of 9 rooms. 4 spacious luxury rooms with bath and separate shower are situated in the main house, with a spacious balcony overlooking the large swimming pool and manicured garden, Knysna town, the Knysna Lagoon and the distant Outeniqua Mountains. A further 3 comfortable double rooms with up market finishes, private entrances and outside courtyard seating area are ideal for the more budget-conscious traveller.

The thatched Garden Cottage offers African-style accommodation (ideal for honeymooners) and privacy with fireplace and own deck, while the 2-bedroomed family unit offers a comfortable yet affordable option for families or friends travelling together.

In-house qualified guide and hosts speak English, Afrikaans, Dutch, German, Russian and a few words of French.

Standard double (x3)
Standard double rooms with en-suite shower. It leads out to a shared sunny, sheltered patio, ideal for sundowners or a braai. Some of the rooms can be made up with twin beds.

Luxury double (x1)
Spacious luxury double in the main house with en-suite shower. King size bed can be converted into twin beds. Room leads out to a shared patio.

Luxury double with balcony / deck (x3)
Spacious luxury room with en-suite bathroom with bath and double shower, ideal for those wanting to spoil themselves. Sunny private balcony offers views towards the Knysna Lagoon and Outeniqua Mountains; made to enjoy sundowners! Queen or king size bed which can be made up as twins on request.

Luxury Garden Cottage (x1)
Lovely stand-alone thatched cottage, ideal for honeymooners or guests preferring some privacy. It also has a private wooden deck to enjoy the African sunset. Private fireplace, minibar. En-suite shower and toilet.

Family unit (x1)
Ideal for families or friends travelling together. Double-bedded room and twin-bedded room sharing bathroom with bath and separate shower. Small TV/living room with sleeper couch opens up to intimate private patio next to the swimming pool / garden.
