Accommodation

This modern, recently renovated, holiday home sleeps 6 people, and has 3 bedrooms (one with air-conditioning) and 2 bathrooms (one en-suite), as well as a lovely open-plan kitchen and living area. There are also two verandahs, a spacious, shady front verandah on which to sit and enjoy the view and the garden, and there is also a smaller, protected verandah where you can be outside when the wind is blowing.

Enjoy a braai under the trees in the garden, sip your drink on the front verandah while you enjoy the evening sea views or have a cosy breakfast on the small verandah adjoining the dining room.

The fully fitted kitchen has everything you need, from a dishwasher to a microwave. And, to ensure you have a truly relaxing holiday, the caretaker comes in daily, and services the house for you. There is ample, secure garden parking, as well as a lock up garage for your convenience.

Attractions Close by

You also have your choice of beaches: Chaka’s Rock and Salt Rock beach are a mere 1 minute’s drive away, there you can enjoy the tidal pool or swim under the watchful eye of the lifeguards. Or you could amble down to the stretch of beach in front of the cottage, only a three minute walk along a tarred access road, which is great for general swimming and often the less crowded option.

Surrounding Area

Activities abound from shopping, entertaining children, or enjoying a movie in the various centers. Ballito, with all its shops and restaurants, is only a 5 minute drive away. Umhlanga, Gateway Shopping Centre and Sibaya Casino are 15 minutes away, and Durban is a 30 minute drive. Gateway has a host of entertainment options with the wave pool, rock climbing wall, the children’s Science Centre and the IMAX theatre.
