We stayed at Kwandizwe for 4 nights as part of our 25th honeymoon and it was better than the 24 previous honeymoons. Besides the fact that it is a beautiful, luxury lodge, the service is also excellent and the price very reasonable. We had the whole lodge to ourselves which made it perfect. It is a lovely setting on the Crocodile river. This accommodation is highly recommended. |

We spent a week here as part of our honeymoon having got married on Victoria Falls the previous week. We spent £1000 hiring on this lodge and had been so excited at the prospect of staying here. Although its location and views of the wildlife from the lodge are fantastic, we felt very opressed by the maid who arrived on our doorstep at 8.00am every morning and left around 11.00am - or so we thought until we returned early one day at 2.30pm to find her in the lodge making herself comfortable and watching a film with a friend she had invited over. Perhaps this is normal practice that we from the UK are unused to, but the owner appeared extremely disgruntled when I informed him about it. Also there was an immense ant infestation problem constantly in our bathroom and quite a few of the bedrooms. Again probably acceptable to some; but don't go calling it 5-star, because I felt we'd spent a lot of money on an extremely special occasion only to experience sub-standard accommodation which we shared with hundreds of ants and apparently the maid and her mates! As you might have gathered by now - we most certainly will not be returning. |

You would never imagine this "treasure of beauty" when you drive past the Khandizwe sign in Visarend street! We were here for 2 nights of our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The staff are extremely friendly and unexpected night time visitors (elephant and buffalo) made it even more special. We saw 4 of the Big 5 right from our doorstep! The view on the rivier is truly amazing! We are already planning our next stay with family and friends! |
