The Karoo Cottage took me back to my youth when we spend time on the farm. It felt like home and every detail has been thought of and provided for. Immaculately clean and comfortable, I recommend it to any descerning traveller. Steve was the perfect host and Loxton, a beautiful gem in the heart of the Karoo. Well done! |

Quiet, clean, comfortable annd home away from home. That is waht I can say about Karoo Cottage. The evenings is wonderful with stars so bright and in abundance! Satelites zip by every now and then and can be spotted with the naked eye as they pass in orbit. Steve is a absolute gentleman and wonderfull host. You are left alone to go about your business and to rest. I can definitely recommend this establishment to any travelrers on route to the Cape and the North. |

Brent and Steve's place is my oasis of choice in the karoo; quiet, clean, smart and they leave you alone completely. It has everything you need and I find myself going back as often as I can - it's one of those 'finds' you make and don't want to share. Loxton is the same, a karoo village so small it defies description, yet one that draws you back time and again. Must be the trees... |
