Izotsha Creek, with its nine tastefully decorated suites, conference facilities, nursery and beautiful gardens, was set up in 1996 by Peter & Sandy Brauteseth, to establish a peaceful rural setting for your restful break. The gorgeous views and setting create an accommodation experience that will want you coming back for more. Come and join us for that special weekend away.

Accommodation

You are invited to come and experience our magnificent panoramic views that create an unforgettable stay with us. As you awake, our farm breakfasts and fresh refreshments are truly delicious and prepare you for the day ahead. Our nine tastefully decorated rooms all include:

Enjoy the cool relaxing infinity rock pool with waterfalls and hear the beautiful indigenous birdsong as the various birds visit the pools for their daily bath. Fish Eagles nest nearby and we are establishing a beautiful twitching trail through the adjacent virgin coastal bush, unique to our part of our beautiful country.

Breakfast

Bed and Breakfast guests are welcomed to join us for short or long stays. Our Farmhouse breakfasts are truly magnificent and prepare you for the day. Dinners and lunches are available by prior arrangement upon booking.

Group Self Catering

The Guest House and its facilities are available to groups or families on a daily rate. The Guest House is ideal for a home away from home experience with the follow facilities available to guests:

• Jacuzzi
• Braai area
• Large dining area
• Kitchen for self catering
• Three lounge areas
• Rock swimming pool (please note the pool is not covered and children should be supervised by an adult)

Weddings

Izotsha Creek Estate can accommodate up to 200 seated guests, with a spacious dance floor. Depending on your requirements, 100 guests are seated under our permanent deck structure and additional guests are accommodated under a ‘stretch tent’ that is tastefully moulded to the permanent structure to create an amazing setting). Our Panoramic Deck, which has a 180 degree sea view, is an idyllic and romantic setting, yet an adventurous scene for an amazing wedding reception.

Chapel / Ceremony Sites:
• The Norwegian Settlers Church, with its newly installed pipe organ, can be utilized through us. The church is 2km from the venue
• Numerous sites at the venue should you prefer to be married outdoors. A popular choice is on the main deck looking out over the rolling hills and onto the beautiful Indian Ocean or utilize one of our many garden spots to say ‘I Do’
• Private beach wedding ceremonies

Conferences

Izotsha Creek is the ideal venue for team building. We specialize in hosting workshops, seminars and conferences. We cater for full board, special functions and events.

Set on 72 acres in the subtropical paradise of the South Coast, with indigenous birdsong, the call of the African Fish Eagle, as well as magnificent sea and inland views, there are no modern day distractions for delegates.

The main conference room comfortably caters for up to 100 delegates. Other configurations can easily be arranged to suit your needs:

Catering

All catering is arranged by us to meet your every requirement. We offer set menus, buffets, function dinners, and outside braais. Individual requirements can be arranged. Accommodation is provided at Izotsha Creek and other hostelries in our area, simply request and we will gladly ensure all your delegates every need will be met.

Accommodation for delegates can also be included in your packages. Please advise should you need to take up this facility.

Golfing

As Izotsha Creek Estate is situated on the 'Golf Coast' it provides an ideal opportunity to enjoy a week long Golfing Experience. With no less than nine magnificent golf courses within easy driving distance, we provide packages to: collect from either the King Shaka International Airport (Durban) or the Margate Airport, course bookings, accommodation, meals and entertainment to suite your needs. Our intention is to assist you with a package that ensures you have a great time enjoying yourselves in our beautiful part of the world.

Activities and Attractions

Excursions to local tourist attractions such as Oribi Gorge, Leopard Rock, Lake Eland, Protea Banks Diving, Wild Coast Casino, can also be arranged. A 21 seated shuttle bus is available for transfers between King Shaka International Airport and the local attractions (prices on request). Come and rest a while, in our beautiful, exotic and restful 'palm lined' estate.

Location

We are approximately one hours’ drive from Durban and 1h20min from King Shaka International Airport. There is ample parking and 24 hour security on the entire estate. We are situated at the top of the hill that looks over Shelly Beach.
