Accommodation

Illyria House has six luxury suites and seven classic suites.

Selected by the South African National Broadcasting Corporation as the No 1 Honeymoon Suite in South Africa, the Catharina Suite is beautifully furnished with French antique furniture including a king sized bed. The suite also comprises of a separate dressing room, a private office and a furnished balcony complete with recliners, table and chairs overlooking the tranquil garden.

The other luxury suites at Illyria House are also furnished with antiques. All the luxury suites at Illyria House have a separate refreshment area, stocked wet mini bar as well as coffee and tea making facilities. In-room amenities include air conditioning, remote-controlled satellite television, telephone, a hairdryer, dressing gowns and slippers. All luxury suites boast an en-suite bathroom with a vintage bath tub on lion paw feet and separate shower. The wide selection of toiletries in the bathrooms, including rose buds, candles and incense, promises a pampering and relaxing experience.

The new Illyria Hideaway comprises of six classical suites. Nestled in lush Japanese-style gardens, Illyria Hideaway provides complete privacy.

Illyria Hideaway exudes a simplistic Eastern elegance. Illyria Hideaway is refreshingly unique and completely different to Illyria House but shares the same exceptional luxurious ambience. Illyria Hideaway is a ground-floor property separated from Illyria House by gardens, heated outdoor pool and summer houses.

Services

All services including meals will be provided at Illyria House. Illyria Hideaway boasts a private pool with recliners. A business centre will provide guests with photocopying and fax facilities and will be manned by a member of staff. Guests will enjoy wireless Internet connectivity. A communal lounge area will offer guests travelling in small groups a social environment to share their day’s experiences.

Illyria House is the ideal wedding venue for elegant, intimate weddings. The verandah can host banquet-style dinners, as well as the banquet hall. The garden is a fairy-tail setting for small weddings. Illyria House can accommodate 10 to 90 guests for a sit-down dinner while 100-200 guests can be accommodated for a cocktail party.

Conference Facilities

We have conference packages for full-day and half-day conferences. We can accommodate 5-20 guests for a conference in the Banquet Hall while 50-70 guests can be accommodated in the Grand Hall. Renting of additional equipment such as screens, flip charts and projectors can be sourced at an additional charge.
