25 Hilken Drive is a 5 bedroom house that accommodates a maximum of 10 adults. Camp cots and linen can be provided for babies. The house is fresh, chic and comfortable, providing the laid-back charm Umhlanga promises. Interior decorated by local Umhlanga company, “Belong”, the white, cool tones, carry a stylish beach theme right the way through the house, with seaviews from some of the rooms that lead out onto the balcony. The “New York” style bar is a talking point as well as the outdoor shower off the main bedroom where a tree creeps through the shower structure and (if you’re tall enough) sea views welcome you whilst you shower! Accommodation• king bedded room with full ensuite bathroom (outdoor shower) • double bedded room with full ensuite bathroom • twin bedded room and double bedded room share a full bathroom • guest suite is queen bedded with open plan bathroom consisting of bath/toilet/basin • beautiful courtyard with outdoor shower (to wash the sand off from the beach!) • pool set in large walled garden with electric fencing and electric gate • braai provided (weber) • balcony with seaviews • open plan dining/bar and lounge with plasma screen • fully equipped kitchen • double automated garage and driveway parking • laundry facilities in the garage (washer and dryer) • maid service daily (0830 - 1600hrs), Monday to Friday. • maid service on weekends and public holidays on special request and at extra charge FacilitiesDouble automated garages and plenty of driveway parking provide ample space for vehicles. PVR is provided. We also provide a shopping service for those of you arriving too late to do so. Simply provide us with a list of your requirements and we’ll make sure the food and drink are in the house when you arrive. This will be done at the shop prices plus a 20% surcharge. ServiceThe house is serviced daily from Mondays to Fridays. Service on a Saturday till noon, but no service on a Sunday (can be arranged at extra cost). Raucous parties and Matric students are strictly prohibited. LocationLocation is in the Umhlanga residential area, an approximate 5 minute drive to the Umhlanga village, Gateway area and Umhlanga beachfront. Linen and bath towels are provided, but limited beach towels, so please bring your own. Attractions and ActivitiesGateway Entertainment and Shopping Centre (2nd largest in the World and biggest in the Southern Hemisphere), with shops, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, IMAX, climbing wall, skate park, wave pool, putt putt, squash, aerobics and much more, just 5 minutes away. Game park safaris are within driving distance with the chance of spotting Africa's Big Five. There are numerous sporting facilities available in the area: play golf at one of the world's top 100 golf courses at the Durban Country Club, take a boat trip to see the dolphins catching the waves, maybe catch a view of the Hump Back Whale, deep sea diving off the Aliwal Shoal to view the numerous fish or take a trip to catch one of the numerous game fish off the coast.
