Hallack Manor Guest House is situated on a spacious property in one of Port Elizabeth’s most exclusive suburbs, offering you a secure environment with a beautiful view of the Baakens Valley, the historical Grey Clock Tower and breathtaking views of the sunset from our deck. Accommodation

Each of the eight bedrooms complete with en-suite bathrooms are individually designed to meet specific needs of our valued clients. These spacious comfortable air-conditioned rooms offer facilities as television (with M-Net and a sport channel), tea and coffee facilities as well as bar fridges.

Three of our bedrooms and the lounge lead unto an outdoor entertainment area complete with a pool, braai area, pizza oven and surrounded by a luscious green garden setting. Our honeymoon suite linked to a separate room with a Jacuzzi proves very popular for honeymoon couples and guests celebrating special occasions.

Facilities

We offer laundry facilities, a central fax machine, telephone and access to internet facilities. A shuttle service is available on request. Furthermore we are also instrumental in organizing tours for our guests when and if required.

We also assist our guests in making reservations for visits to restaurants and eating places. Our area also boasts having a number of truly quality restaurants operating in close proximity of Hallack Manor Guest House. However should our guests prefer to stay at home, meals can be prepared and served by our kitchen staff. In this regard we offer a full English breakfast and our dining room is normally functioning from about 06:00 in the morning.

Conferences

The Conference Centre has it's own private entrance which ensures privacy at all times. The Conference room opens up with French doors into an entertainment area which can be used as reception / registration / socialising area with an indoor barbeque facility. The bar is centrally located and opens up onto a deck where magnificent views of the Baakens Valley can be enjoyed. Auditorium Style we seat 20 pax with ease and Boardroom Style we can host 15 pax.

We provide an overhead projector with screen, white board with markers and flip charts with markers. A TV monitor and DVD player are available and the brightness of lighting can be adjusted to suit requirements. We serve meals, tea and coffee as well as bottled water and mints on the table. Our venue is centrally situated, close to the airport, harbour, national roads and city centre as well as close to St George's Hospital, St George's Cricket Stadium and numerous historically important sites.

Location & Attractions

Like most Port Elizabeth tourist attractions the popular beach front and the Boardwalk Casino are a short drive away. Hallack Manor is conveniently situated within walking distance of St George’s Park (Cricket Stadium) St George’s Hospital as well as about five minutes drive away from Green Acres Hospital.
