Haaskraal is a working wine grape and export grape farm dating back to the 1720’s. Haaskraal offers homely hospitality to the discerning guest leaving them time to relax , take in the unsurpassed views and enjoy the peace and fresh country air. Our desrte is to provide a relaxed and accommodating atmosphere for our guests. County walks, cycling, boules and crochet also offered for those more energetic. Manor House AccommodationPinotage Family Suite contains a queen size bed and the en-suite bathroom contains a Victorian bath and shower cubicle. A second area contains two single twin beds. Kitchenette and separate entrance. Cabernet Suite contains a queen size bed and the en-suite bathroom has a shower cubicle. This suite is entered form the entrance hall. Merlot Suite has twin beds and the en-suite bathroom has a shower cublcle. The suite is entered form the verandah. All suites have TV, including DSTV, beverage trays and hairdryers. The sitting room is elegantly furnished and also has a fireplace for winter use. There is a reading room for relaxing with a book from the library shelves. A cosy cellar enables you to choose a bottle of wine form the vineyards of the area. A swimming pool for the guests to use is surrounded by lovely gardens and views. Self Catering CottageThe cottage is comfortably equipped. Consists of an open plan sleeping area (twin beds) and sitting area. Seperate shower room and kitchenette. There are outside barbeque facilities. A colour TV is provided and a fireplace for those cosy winter evenings. The cottage is serviced daily and provided with clean linen and towels. Breakfast & DiningFarm breakfasts can be served either in dining room or outside in summer. Dinners can be catered for on request with booking or can be arranged at one of Wellington or Paarl’s many fine restaurants. Conferences & WeddingsHaaskraal Vineyards and Country Lodge now boast a new function venue which can accommodate up to about 50 persons with dancing and more without. Our experienced chef can put together Classic, Contemporary or Cape Cuisine dishes for weddings, parties, brunches, breakfasts etc. Our venue has a gentle and homely ambience, offering any special occasion understated elegance in a picturesque setting. Unforgettable country charm combined with magnificent views over vineyards and distant mountains lend itself to create memories that will last a lifetime.
