Only two and a half hours from Pretoria, and no dirt road.AccommodationRock Lodge The lodge is built on a hill overlooking the foothills of the Waterberg, and has two separate luxury self-catering units. Each unit has three en-suite bedrooms opening on a private patio, a fully equipped kitchen opening on a wooden deck with a spectacular view and a intimate rock boma where a bon-fire is made every evening to enjoy the music of the nightlife under the stars. When the game seek shade under the big Marula and Wild fig trees in the heat of the day, the deck surrounding the elevated swimming pool is the place to relax an enjoy the sunshine. The lodge can accommodate 28 people. Rustic Valley Camp Overlooking a beautiful valley, this camp is ideal for a complete break from the city rush. The farmhouse dates back to the 1940’s, and if you relax under the giant Marula tree that covers the huge rock boma, you will be reminded life in the olden days, peaceful, quiet and without the interruptions of modern life. The camp has seven bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. As the camp is in the middle of the ranch, 10 km’s from the nearest utilities, gas geysers, -fridges and -stoves and solar panels provide the basic luxuries of modern life. Note: Linen and towels are provided. The camps are serviced daily. Limited firewood is provided daily. ActivitiesGnu Ranch caters for all needs of our guests.
