About Gabbata Lodge
Situated on 20 hectares of untamed bushveld with various species of game and bird life, Gabbata Lodge is the perfect setting to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city for open spaces, fresh air and the beautiful surroundings of the Roodeplaat Dam.
Accommodation
Gabbata Lodge offers accommodation on a Bed and Breakfast basis in 16 rooms. There are also two rooms on a self catering basis, all of which are elegantly decorated and have a warm and tranquil atmosphere.
Rooms boast wonderful views of the dam and surrounding bushveld. Most rooms accommodate two guests but larger rooms are also available to accommodate families of up to four people. Television and Wi-Fi are available in all rooms. Please see the individual room descriptions with photos below, to assist you with your room choice.
Breakfast and Dining
Breakfast is served from 08h30 to 10h00 every day. The restaurant serves mouth watering dishes using organic herbs and vegetables grown in the gardens at the Lodge. Our guests can enjoy a selection of handpicked wines to suit all budgets. Gabbata Lodge hosts its own wine cellar with exclusive wines from indigenous wine farms.
