About Erin Farmhouse & Cottages
Erin is situated approximately halfway between Johannesburg and the Garden Route/ Cape Town, providing you with an excellent stopover point. Your accommodation is located just off the N9 between Middelburg and Graaff-Reinet. This quiet, noise-free farmstead is also a perfect place for you to relax and unwind for a few days in the tranquillity of the open Karoo.
Erin is a Karoo homestead near Middelburg in the eastern Karoo that offers you individual cottages for farm-style accommodation. Erin is only a few minutes' drive from the town, and conveniently situated in the fresh, clean air of the open farmland away from lights and any other disturbances. Erin is pet- and child-friendly, with views over the sweeping plains to the nearby Renosterberg mountains.
Accommodation
Your accommodation is pet-friendly, with all of our four units having a 1.2 m high fence to keep your animals safe and contained. All units are fully equipped for self-catering, including braai facilities and a pack of free firewood for you every night. All units have fans and heaters, but not air-conditioning.
At Erin we respect your right to quiet, undisturbed solitude, and there are no televisions or radios in the rooms, and no music or other disturbances are allowed.
You'll love to enjoy a sundowner at the end of the day, perhaps with a braai (BBQ), watching the sun set over the Renosterberg mountains in the west. Feel free to go for a walk, watch the birds and the stars, and enjoy tranquillity at its Karoo best.

We always enjoy our stay at Erin Farmhouse. Lovely to have space for our dog, quiet peaceful and oh the scenery is magnificent. Accommodation is wonderful and comfy. You have everything you need even for during loadshedding. Will definitely stay there again.
