Djis Tjil is a quaint self-catering fisherman's cottage right on the famous Mosselbank beach in Paternoster with a breathtaking, uninterrupted 180 degree view of the main beach.

Self Catering Accommodation

Sleeping eight (maximum of four adults and four children), the house is a beautifully decorated and fully equipped family beach house that offers three bedrooms, three bathrooms as well as a cosy inside braai / fireplace and an outside braai on wheels. Enjoy the views of the main beach from the house.

Rooms

The main bedroom is furnished with a King size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower.

The second bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.

The third bedroom sleeps four guests in two bunk beds. This room has a bathroom with shower only.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, ice machine, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Djis Tjil is very centrally located on Mosselbank beach close by to the local food shop and restaurants - everything in walking distance. A very quiet area with it being a dead-end road. Unfortunately there was building works going on next door which are now during to an end. Also the food shop in Paternoster is very good for last minute amenities. I would highly recommend that one does a big food shop for your stay beforehand in Vredenburg. Good restaurants I would suggest The Noisy Oyster, The See Kat on the waterfront, The Wolfgat for fine dining (please note you need to book in advance) and The Voorstrandt a few yards from the house. A drink or dinner at The Strandloper ocean hotel Leeto is also a lovely place to relax and enjoy some good food. All in all our stay at Djis Tjis was extremely enjoyable and a great place to wind down from everyday life - nothing better than taking in the magnificent views over the ocean - so tranquil! We are already looking forward to our next visit!
