Dear Annie,
As promised, I am sending you these few lines to tell you how I was happy to spend four nights in De Kuilen Country House last November. My only regret is that I did not have enough time to enjoy your company and the premises in daytime due to a heavy business schedule. You have made my stay a memorable one, starting with the welcome drink (South African champaigne) that we enjoyed in your beautiful garden. The atmosphere of your guest house is very special. I somewhat felt at home due to the typically British (my feeling) ambience. I also appreciated the quality and quantity of breakfast and dinner food. Sharing your company during the meals contributed to my feeling at home. Next time, hopefully next March, Charles and I will go on with French conversation! The only observation I' like to make is that the painting of the room I stayed needs to be refreshed and the bathroom refurbished. Otherwise, I warmly recommend your guest house for all visitors coming to Johannesburg, who want to enjoy a beautiful and very quiet environment. I am looking forward to my next visit in March 2010.
