If you are feeling energetic then there is a lot the Magaliesburg Meander offers in its surroundings. For example, hiking, river rafting, trails, fishing, balloon safari, micro-lighting, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting, archery, horse riding, rock climbing etc. These activities can be organised with prior arrangement at an extra cost or can be self sourced. We have a directory of all activities in the near surroundings.
After a hectic day of riding, fishing or climbing why not enjoy the family time with a braai at the Lapa and then spend the time sitting and listening to natures chorus of wild sounds of local fauna in the cosy surroundings of the bomaís fire. Gaze at the stars and the Milky Way in the unpolluted skylines of Magaliesburg. Soon you will realise that you are sitting in the land of ancient habitats, one of the oldest treks of civilisation on the Earth; The Cradle of Humankind.
