Whale watching is a popular pastime in South Africa and few places offer a better opportunity than Kalk Bay. Chartfield Guest House offers you many rooms, each with its own feel and atmosphere, no two are alike! There is a beautiful loft room with truly spectacular views (shown below), rivaled only by the magnificent panorama from the great sweeping windows of our corner rooms (shown on the right). Other rooms look out at the Silvermines Nature reserve which stretches down to within 200 meters of the front door, all offer the comfort and serenity you'll come to expect from your stay in Kalk Bay. DININGDownstairs the dining room opens towards the sea and serves a filling breakfast of coffee and orange juice, cereals, sausage, omelette, egg, in generous portions to keep you going during your day. ConferencesAn ideal venue for small conferences and meeting, from 15 to 25 delegates. Small conference groups can be accommodated. Please call us to arrange.
