We enjoyed the house very much, because it is quiet and peaceful - unlike what our beaches at home become during the season.
Best was reading "The story of the house" as contained in the 6 visitor's books. The owners have created a history, which brought us to tears - just because it is so sentimental. What a fab idea!
We enjoyed the re-connecting of family because of the lack of TV, playing many of the games, the quiet walks along the shore of the lagoon without too many people around, and found the "up in the trees effect" of the house very cooling, as apposed to what the temperature was on the ground.
Things we thought could have been better, because of the length of our stay, was hanging space for clothing, cupboard space for food, and maybe an additional shower downstairs in the bathroom. Also, if some bushes/trees could be cut lower for a view of the lake from the deck area.
Besides that, this is a jewel of a place. We would like to stay there again. |

No TV - what a pleasure! We have not had quality time like this in ages.
We re-discovered our childhood with all the games, and shared a good couple
of giggles. We loved all the info about the area, and the only bad thing is
that 3 days were not enough..we'll have to come back again soon. |

Had a wonderful holiday. This is the best place we have stayed in so far at
Sedgefield. Very cosy and private. We would love to stay here again next
year. |

My boyfriend organised the "break-away weekend" and found this beautiful
private house. No TV...just peace...birds and the beautiful sounds of
nature. |
