Casa Playa No 5 is a luxuriously appointed home away from home Holiday Apartment situated on Umhlanga main beach (next door to Umhlanga Sands Hotel). The luxury apartment offers 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms and sleeps 8 guests.

There are a number of amenities within close walking distance i.e. hair dresser, beauty salon, cocktail bar, coffee shop, family steakhouse (Spur) and Italian Restaurant are all next door in the Umhlanga Sands Hotel. A little further along the boardwalk is a pleasant Café with tables outdoors overlooking the sea or indoors if the weather is unpleasant. Umhlanga village itself with its many restaurants and eclectic shops is a short walk away.

ACCOMMODATION

The lounge, opening onto the wraparound patio, is furnished with an Italian black leather suite complemented by rather unusual black and white leather seating arrangement which consists of two circular chairs, a footstool and connecting table. Floor to ceiling windows are curtained with heavy silk drapes. Your favourite DSTV (Satellite TV) Channel is viewed on a Plasma Screen TV with surround sound and there is also a DVD Player for those days when there really is nothing to watch on TV.

The dining area has a 6 seater frosted glass and brushed chrome dining table (which can expand to seat 8) with black leather high back chairs.

The spacious kitchen with granite tops is equipped with new modern appliances - Bosch Automatic Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer, LG Dishwasher, LG Double Door Fridge/Freezer, Garbage Disposal Unit, Water purifier and AEG glass top stove. There are also smaller appliances e.g. cake mixer, Juice Extractor and LG Microwave oven.

BEDROOMS

The patio wraps around three quarters of the apartment thereby allowing 3 bedrooms direct access onto the patio. The fourth bedroom has a small private patio. The main bedroom has a queen size bed with en-suite bathroom which comes with a spa bath, shower, toilet and double vanity.

The other two bedrooms each have a double bed and also each have a bathroom en-suite with bath, shower, toilet and vanity. The fourth bedroom has bunk beds and has a private bathroom – shower, toilet and vanity. There is also a Graco cot for infants and toddlers and a bed guard rail for little ones is also available, as is a stroller.
