We stayed, two parents and adult daughter, at Cape Alexander for 6 nights in December 2011. We enjoyed our stay very much! It is so much better than a hotel!! We had room to spread out in- living room, dining room, fully stocked kitchen - including washer and dryer. The location was excellent - pretty neighborhood, felt completely safe. Loved Daily Deli down the street for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Diana and her husband were easy to work with and very hospitable, even purchasing food items on our behalf for our arrival! Highly recommend!! |

A tastefully furnished apartment with all necessary amenities.
The hosts Di and Janne were very helpful and attentive during our entire stay. The apartment itself is very well furnished with all necessary equipment you might need during your stay. The provided information about Cape Town ( a folder prepared by Di) is absolutely stunning. It gives you plenty of suggestions and ideas what to do in Cape Town and the Western Cape. Even though I have been living in Cape Town for 3 years I found these guidelines very informative. They are very detailed and also include personal recommendations (eg for restaurants). |

What a beautiful place! So conveniently positioned, with an amazing view from the balcony (especailly during sunrises). A home away from home.
I highly recommend this apartment to everyone- such value for money which makes your cape town holiday even more enjoyable!

We actuallly stayed with Diana and Janne from September to early January, 2010. They were both very helpful in every aspect of our stay. The flat was absolutely fabulous with a great garden and view of Table mountain. Every aspect of the flat, from superior linens and beds to a fully equipped kitchen made our stay feel more like home.
We have a saying about South Africa, especially Di and Janne, "We came as guests, and left as friends." I would recommend these accommodations to anyone. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. |

My wife and I, with our two children stayed at Cape Alexander for 10 days in March. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. It is located in a great position and we walked to fantastic restaurants in the area. We never felt afraid to walk at night. We walked to the city cntre which only took 20 minutes. We highly recommend staying here and we look forward to our return next year. |
