When we decided to visit Cape Town, it was rather difficult to look for accommodation that best suited our needs. We wanted to be close to the sea, but tucked into the mountain. We wanted to be near restaurants but far enough to enjoy the quietness we desired. We found, what could only be described as, a perfect little piece of Heaven nestled in the arms of Table Mountain, a walking distance from the hub of Camps Bay. But what made us appreciate the chalet more than anything else was the fine detail displayed by our host, Marcia. Her warmth, attention to detail, delicate and beautiful touches in the cottage, made us appreciate our holiday so much more. It was lovely coming home after a long drive in the Winelands to a warm, cosy cottage...we could make a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy a complimentary Romany Cream! She is a delight of a person and this characterstic overflows into everything she has created at Camps Bay Chalet. Thank you to her for treating us to truly wonderful Cape Town adventure. |
