About Blue On Blue Bed & Breakfast
Perched on a quiet mountainside cul-de-sac overlooking the Indian Ocean and Cape Peninsula, Blue on Blue Bed & Breakfast offers 180° sea views and superior service in a tranquil setting.
Architectural detail can be found throughout, including the original Rhodesian teak and Oregon pine floors, porthole windows, mottled glass, antique cedar-lined closets, and tiled bathrooms. Guest and common rooms are accented with colorful textiles, archival photographs, beadwork and other handcrafts by local artisans.
The Master Suite:
The Master Suite is our most elegant and romantic accommodation, with a custom-made California King Size mattress on a canopy bed, and en-suite mosaic tiled bathroom, where you can gaze at the ocean while soaking in the bathtub.
Cape View is our charming room with a double bed, ensuite bathroom and a view of the entire Cape Peninsula all the way to the Cape of Good Hope, the southwestern tip of Africa.
Curries' Corner View is a double room with two twin beds, views of False Bay and the Cape Peninsula, as well as a spacious private tiled bathroom with a shower and separate extra long tub for relaxing baths.
Enjoy a hearty hot breakfast in our dining room. Relax on our garden patio with a sea view. At the end of the day, settle into fine cotton linens and fall asleep to the sound of rolling surf.
If you come in your own vehicle, we have secure onsite parking. For public transport, we are well positioned; the St James train station is within two minutes walking, and is the most affordable and easy way to get around the area. You can explore the entire False Bay Coast on the train for just a few rands!

Furthermore, you can stay with us knowing that you are making a difference in the lives of individuals who are working to lift themselves out of poverty. In this regard, Blue On Blue stands alone among B&B's. Committed to local culture and economic development, we lead tours to "the other side of Cape Town," the townships. Through our nonprofit partner, Art Aids Art, we have well established relationships with artist collectives, offering opportunities to meet township artisans and learn about the process of their crafts, including contemporary bead work, weaving, jewellery, etc. In Khayelitsha Township, we have accomplished something extraordinary: construction of a multipurpose community center that provides sustainable income, educational programs and services to unemployed mothers and their families.
