Welcome to Bag End Guest House Bed & Breakfast here in Carlswald, Midrand. We are looking forward to hosting you in a little bit of a different way. Our family home is a warm friendly environment with a countryside atmosphere. One hectare of tranquility and peace right in the heart of Midrand. We focus on hosting corporate and business people although suite two can work for families.

Accommodation

Our Bag End accommodation consists of three rooms and sleeps six people.

Suite One
Is a studio bedroom with a queen size bed and sleeper couch, lovely spacious working space, flat screen TV, CD player, two easy chairs, en suite, separate entrance opening onto garden courtyard with lavender table and benches. Bar fridge, kettle and microwave. Complimentary tea and coffee tray.

Suite Two
Has a spacious Frodos staircase to first floor it’s with own security door. The suite consists of two bedrooms sharing one bathroom. The room can have single beds or a king-size bed. We only take single or group bookings for this space. There is a bar fridge, microwave oven and breakfast nook. Each room has its own TV. There is a view onto the garden on the one side and garden courtyard and fishpond on the other.

Breakfast

Guests can also choose to eat in our dining room with antique farmhouse dining room table.

Bag End is situated in Carlswald, Midrand and offers easy access to all highways; N1/N3 Johannesburg - Pretoria, R56 Pretoria - Krugersdorp, R21 Pretoria - Kempton Park. We are a mere 4.4 km from the on-ramp of the N1 and N3. We are also close to Grand Central Airport (8km), Oliver Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport (38 km) and Lanseria International Airport (35 km).
