Arrecife is a charmingly decorated and spacious two bedroom apartment situated on Kalk Bay’s vibrant seafront. The name ‘Arrecife’ comes from the word ‘reef’ in Spanish and was chosen for the apartment’s amazing view over the famed Kalk Bay reef, loved by surfers for its excellent waves and by whale spotters for the uninterrupted view of whales playing just beyond the breakers.
The apartment is situated just 2 minutes walk from the heart of Kalk Bay, a charming fishing village, famous for its bohemian restaurants and bars, fantastic antique and book shops, art galleries and speciality food stores. It is less than a 1 minute walk to Dale Brook tidal pool and a quiet white sand beach with a fresh water shower. For those who love to walk, the hills around Kalk Bay offer good hiking.
Less than 40 minutes from central Cape Town, the location provides the perfect base to explore the South Peninsula, the rest of Cape Town and the Cape Winelands. The world famous Cape Point nature reserve is just a 30 minute drive away and scuba diving, water sports, fishing, caving, boat trips and golf courses are all available nearby.
