About A Peaceful Retreat

A Peaceful Retreat is set in one acre of well established gardens with swimming pool and tennis court in the tranquil northern suburb of Bryanston. Relax in comfort in this peaceful setting.

We have been satisfying the discerning traveller since February 1995. We are ideally suited to the business person, offering a very tranquil peaceful environment with an exceptional personal touch from your hostess, Maria. We also offer beautiful gardens for the holidaymaker to relax in between visits to the many attractions in and around Johannesburg.


A Peaceful Retreat offers five double en-suite bedrooms, each with satellite television, free wireless internet, tea and coffee making facilities, a large desk and access to a bar fridge. The guest lounge has self catering facilities. Rooms have separate entrances from the house. For your peace of mind, the B&B is in a security controlled boomed off street. Full English breakfast served on veranda overlooking lush garden, full of bird calls.

Unit consisting of 2 or 3 bedrooms and a guest lounge with self catering facilities is also available. Ideal for families relocating.
