The 4 Star Airport Grand Hotel and Conference Centre is located a mere ten minutes drive from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, in the shopping district of Boksburg on the East Rand, and offers a free airport shuttle to and from the hotel for residents.

ACCOMMODATION

The hotel comprises 151 bedrooms in total - 60 twin rooms and 91 queen rooms, 73 of which are non-smoking. All rooms offer en-suite bathrooms and boast a separate bath and shower, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, remote controlled TV’s with selected DSTV channels, air-conditioning / heating, direct dial telephones, digital alarm clocks and personal in-room safes.

There are two room types, ie a single room with a Queen size bed and Double / Twin with two double beds. Two bedrooms are accessible for disabled guests.

The Airport Grand Hotel has three floors and two wings, one of which houses bedrooms for smoking guests and one wing for non smoking guests. Each floor is accessible via a guest lift.

Breakfast and Dining

Twenty four room service is also available as well as a restaurant, hotel bar and coffee lounge. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, buffet style and lunch for residents can be a la carte. Each and every Thursday evening a South African buffet braai is served. Breakfast is served from 06h00 to 10h00 daily and special arrangements can be made for guests who are departing prior to 06h00.

FACILITIES

An outdoor swimming pool is also available for residents plus a plush private Guest Lounge close to reception, where computer terminals are available for internet access. Internet access for guests is complimentary. There is a fully equipped gym close to the hotel.

CONFERENCES

The Conference and Banqueting facilities comprise seven multi-functional venues, in a separate conference centre close to the main building, catering for anything from 10 to 150 delegates. These non-smoking facilities are all fully air-conditioned and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring a successful banquet or meeting.
