This is Ayan. We came back home safely from our 2 week trip of Johannesburgh. Thanks for all your hospitality
First of all I would like to express our sincere thanks and acknowledgement of your wonderful service during our stay at the Africa Centre Hotel.I would like to mention few points about this hotel’s wonderful hospitality and excellent service:
Hotel location: in a very safe gated secured area. Close from airport and 24 hr monitored by guarded security. This is probably the safest place to stay in Johannesburgh.
Airport Pick up and Drop off: This is amazing. They do this for free and always they drop of and pick up right on time. We were so happy to get this service.
Breakfast: Free Breakfast and probably the best we have had around the world. Various fruits, bagels, breads, muffins, a whole Omelets and egg station, cereals, mango and orange juice milk, tea and coffee, hot chocolates, beans, bacon and sausage, ham and cheese. Nothing can beat this breakfast. You don’t even feel for buying lunch after having this breakfast.
Rooms: clean, always changes towel everyday, cleaning ladies are so nice and perfect in their duties to keep the rooms clean.
Travel desk: Hotel organized our Soweto+ Joburgh day tour, they also organized our shuttle service for our world cup games to soccercity and Ellis park stadium. They also organize all other tours like African cultural village tour, Appartheid museum tour and tours to other parts of South Africa like The Famous kruger National park.
Hotel staff: George, Gloria, Sarah they are always smiling and ready to help whenever required. They became our very good friend.
Bar: have a very cosy and comfortable bar. Neil in the bar always takes care of all people.
Overall service: I am from USA and traveled around lots of places over years. This is probably the best service I get from a hotel. This hotel is not expensive at all, close to airport and in a avery safe ans secured place. I highly recommend it to other travelers.

To the fantastic team at the Africa centre,
We have finally made it back to the UK. We touched down at Heathrow about an hour ago.
Thank you so much for taking such great care of us. You really were fantastic and I cannot tell you how much we appreciated you friendly, flexible approach.
If and when we visit Johannesburg again we will definitely stop by to say hello.
Good luck for the world cup. You guys deserve to do really well. |

We arrived home on April 26th after being stranded in Jo'burg for ten days
due to the Icelandic volcano.
Our unintended stay at Africa Centre was was fantastic the staff were so friendly and helpful that we were able to stay cheerful and optimistic the whole time.
So we just want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone at 65 Sunny Road.

Very comfortable accommodation, helpful and friendly & caring staff, particularly Indrin who made sure everything was what we wanted (except drinking glasses in the room!); The b/fasts were excellent & served by 2 cheerful ladies. We enjoyed our stay very much. We'll be back.
Two comments of note: Pensioner rates would be appreciated and and a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Thank you for a very pleasant 2 days stay |

Very enjoyable stay; Indrin made us feel so welcome & checked on us in our room if we were comfortable. We requested 2 drinking glasses which unfortunately never materialised! The room very comfortable and clean. We will be back.

This hotel was great they picked me up from the airport and gave me a great room at a really good rate. They staff who are always ready to help a good restuarant and bar. I loved the pool and the bright colors were very welcoming. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Johannesburg. |

This hotel is a great and welcoming place, good airport pick-up, the room was nice and comfortable. The hotel has a good restuarant and it has a really great pool and offers a large variety of Day Tours.
The staff was really friendly and helpful from pick up till check out. |

To all the Staff and employees at Africa Centre Hotel, I just want to say thanks a lot for the best night of my life ever in a South African Hotel especialy in Johannesburg. From the moment I aplied online the response was so quick thanks for that Herman, pickup at the Airport was also very excelent, when I came out of my flight I was meeted with the signboard by their Representatives Cindy and Octavia.
On the way to the Hotel, which really is just 10 minutes from the Airport we had a realy nice conversation with the driver who knew so much about the surrounding area.
On check in we settled the bill and checked into the Luxurious Rooms in less than 5 minutes.
The thought that this was once a Backpacker amazed me, they have really went the extra mile in making us feel at home.
The food in the Restaurant is of superb quality and freshness and we didnt even wait long for it, 10 minutes at the most.
The service in the Bar was of top quality the Barman really knows how to dash up cocktails and shooters for newcommers.
Overall the service was Excelent and top of the range.
Thanks Africa Centre and all staff for making me feel at home away from Cape Town |
