About Guest Lodge is located at 37 Anderson Street in the heart of Brooklyn in Pretoria, and is only two blocks from the main entrance of the University of Pretoria, about 500m from Loftus Stadium (home of the Blue Bulls), and near all Embassies. About Guest Lodge has a very relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful green garden surounded by high trees for an every day Sunday feeling. AccommodationAbout Guest Lodge has six en-suite bedrooms. All rooms are equiped with queen extra length beds (apart from one twin room with two single beds), with built in hair dryers, flat screen TV’s, DSTV, air conditioners, electronic safes, universal chargers (it charges anything from a cellphone, gps, bluetooth headset, camera etc.), mini bar fridges, high thread count linen, jet baths, bathroom heaters, heated towel rails, bathroom extractor fans, shower columns and top quality rooibos amenities. BreakfastThe best way to start your day is with a full breakfast that is included in our prices. Breakfast starts as early as 06:00 and ends at 09:00 daily. A wide variaty of top and unique restaurants is just a few blocks away for those who like to dine out at night. FacilitiesAll rooms are non-smoking rooms, but a well extracted, air conditioned smoking lounge is available for those who would like to enjoy a cup of coffee with a cigar. Guests’ security is a high priority at About Guest Lodge. Safe, spacious, covered parking is provided and all public areas on the premises are monitored with CCTV. A fully stocked bar is available to guests and their visitors, and we have a wide variaty of the best coffee and tea around the world with different flavours, grinds, and a range of organic and herbal tea and coffee. All our staff are qualified and highly trained in the hospitality industry, as well as first aid and fire extinguishing. Children are welcome at About Guest Lodge, but no pets are allowed on the premises. Caring for the environmentWe also try our bit to save the environment - each room has its own dedicated 150 litre solar geiser and one third of the house’s electricity is generated from the sun with solar panels, just in case of a power outage. Our highly effective cleaning chemicals are environmentally friendly and most cleaning equipment is made from recycled materials.
