7th Street Guest House is located at the foothills of the ancient Melville Koppies on the corner of 7th Street and 7th Avenue, Melville. There are strong indications that early man has wandered around in the streams and sat in the shade of the bushes of Melville Koppies are far back as 1.4 million years ago. Today Melville Koppies is a nature reserve and the many foot paths and spectacular views make it a favourite destination for hikers.
We strive to offer our guests safety and security in a tranquil homely environment and to enhance Melville as one of Johannesburg’s’ prime tourist attractions.
At 7th Street Guest House every guest is provided with a personal tailored service including a home made breakfast with lunch and dinners available on request. A tranquil shady patio area with barbeque facilities and patio bar enhance the tranquil garden atmosphere where our guests can relax.
7th Street Guest House offers 13 en-suite luxury rooms of which six have Queen-size beds and seven have twin beds that convert into King-size beds. All the rooms have their own private entrances and are all equipped with DSTV (separate decoders), Wi-Fi Internet access, heaters, hairdryers, fans, digital safes, coffee / tea facilities and bar fridges stocked with complimentary mineral water, juice and milk.
A laundry service is available, and there is no charge for laundry if your stay is for longer than three days. Secure parking is available on the premises.
Breakfasts are served either indoors in our exquisitely furnished dining room or outdoors on the patio.
The 7th Street Guesthouse Conference Centre is an ideal 4 star conference centre that can comfortably host up to 30 delegates and is fully equipped with internet access, an ISDN-line, desks with comfortable seating, secure parking for delegates and all standard conference equipment.
The conference centre is in immaculate condition for business presentations and our outside patio is ideal for breaks with lunches and separate patio tables for cell discussions. The Guesthouse is also able to provide in-house catering on request for the delegates and accommodation can also be arranged for longer conferences.
The conference centre is also perfect for events such as anniversary parties, birthdays, religious celebrations/events. We gladly accommodate guests for events aswell. Pricing on request and according to your requirements.
