Nestled nearly invisibly into beautiful hills bordering Cradle of Humankind, Hideaway at the Farm with it’s endless views of the Hartbeespoort Dam and the Magalies Mountains, provides for the relaxed vacation base to restore your soul and the start of your African adventure. In this touristically fully developed and safe area with many golf courses, nature parks, walking trails, restaurants and modern shopping facilities in walking distance, this magic place offers more than just beautiful views, a lovely swimming pool with braai area for your leisure.

Since 1992 The Farm has had Swiss owners who are very dedicated towards South Africa. They stand for perfect service and commitment. Stay at this truly unique and wonderful place.

ACCOMMODATION


The Main Farmhouse has a big Master bed room with own bath and toilet and a guest bed room also with own shower and toilet. Open Plan Kitchen. TV, Internet, DVD player available on request.

The Rondavel consist of two huge rooms each with bath and toilet. There is also a small cooking facility.

Both accommodations are serviced daily and can be rented separately or together.

LOCATION


The Farm is situated only 1 hour from airport Johannesburg away, or 25 minutes to Pretoria, on 1600 meter sea level and a 13ten hectare plot, in an exclusive and very safe area between Highveld and Lowveld, an unique landscape and one of the oldest places on earth.

ACTIVITIES


There are lots of activities you can do, after having a great breakfast and you are ready to explore. Sports facilities like golf courses, horse riding places, boating, paragliding, accompanied walks are literally around the corner.

The more cultural and socially interested can visit Lesedi Cultural Village, the baPo Community, Lyundu Kindergarten and animal lovers find the Lion Park, Elephant Sanctuary, South African National Bird of Prey Centre, to name a few, in short distance. And we offer exciting accompanied tours to Johannesburg and environs by accredited tour guides!
